Strengths
Usually, the first thing mentioned about Love is how great he is in the fundamentals. He boxes out, passes, and shoots high percentage shots. Love also has a very high basketball IQ, intense, and plays with confidence.
He has very good vision and passes the ball extremely well, especially after grabbing a rebound on the defensive end and outletting the ball, sometimes with a full-court pass for an easy score.
Love is very adept at scoring down low, showing very refined post moves. However, he is also able to step behind the three-point line and drain treys. Love is also a winner and brings that attitude to the court.
Weaknesses
Love is very thick and is surprisingly athletic for someone as big as he is. However, to truly succeed at the next level, he will probably need to lose some weight. Love lacks explosiveness and lateral quickness, which limits him from playing above the rim, as well as on defense. While he is able to seal his man from receiving the ball in the post, Love cannot recover quick enough on pick and rolls or be a shot blocker on help defense.
