Strengths
What really stands out about Gordon is his sweet stroke from the outside. He possesses NBA range and should do well with draining treys at the next level. Gordon squares his body to the basket well before shooting the ball and has a quick release. He can also use screens well.
However, Gordon also can get to the rim, having a very good first step, as well as being able to finish despite contact thanks to his above average strength and athleticism. He also has a knack to get to the free-throw line and converts at an excellent rate.
Gordon shows determination and a motor on defense, which is really the basic of what's needed to be an excellent defender. Add in his athleticism and Gordon should be at the very least an adequate defender in the NBA.
Weaknesses
Definitely, his size! At 6'4", Gordon is short for a shooting guard and he doesn't have the arm length to make up for his height. Gordon needs to also work on his ball handling and passing, which would help negate his small height for his position.
